  20090603_091406 D3 X1.jpg - We are now just south of Walvis Bay (an important whaling port in the past), and commecial capital of the area.  It has a very excellent natural harbor (the only one on the Atlantic side for a boat journeying to the Cape of Good Hope).  Because of its commercial importance, Walvis Bay was not tranferred to Namibia until 1994!!!
